Thursday, April 3 / 10:30 am - 12:00 pm & 1:30 - 3:00 pm

Donna Love Williams
No innovation in recent history has revolutionized job hunting the way the internet has. Employers have virtually eliminated the human element from the initial recruitment phase and use online technology and automated systems to filter through hundreds of applicants to identify qualified candidates. In addition, studies show that a rapidly increasing number of recruiters use Internet search engines and social networking sites in their candidate screening process. Using examples from top job boards, networking hubs and employer websites, this mega session will show how job seekers can take steps to discover and be considered for the best opportunities by networking online, productive searching and tailoring their resumes for maximum results.

Mega Session 3 - "Future Trends and Employment in the USA in the Coming Decade"
Friday, April 4 / 10:15 am - 11:45 pm & 1:45 - 3:15 pm

Sherry Marshall
As the transition from a manufacturing society to an information and services society gains momentum, the American economy and its heretofore unbeatable workforce face challenges unlike any before. Forecasting organizations have for decades been tracking major trends in order to determine whether sudden shifts are indicators of almost seismic transitions for the economy and society, or simply temporary anomalies or fads. Researchers and authors alike have raised questions in books such as “The World is Flat” and “Nine Shifts.”

Mega Session 4 - "Changing the Way You Look at Change"
Friday, April 4 / 10:15 am - 11:45 pm & 1:45 - 3:15 pm

Marilyn Lewis
The only thing constant in life is CHANGE! Learning to manage change, however, is difficult for most people. This workshop will demonstrate how old routines and methods are continually being updated or altered just when you were comfortable with the location of your "cheese" someone moves it! It is a fun and simple way to learn to handle change. Join us for an easy and understandable method for these changing times.
