Exhibitor Rules And Requirements
AJST…ASSOCIATION OF JOB SEARCH TRAINERS: The acronym AJST as used herein shall mean the Vendor Chair for the 2008 Association of Job Search Trainers Conference: "Good Times" Tampa - A View of the Past and the Future With AJST. In the enforcement and interpretation of the following rules and regulations, the decision of the Vendor chair in concurrence with the Conference chair is final.
ELIGIBLE EXHIBITS…. AJST reserves the
right to determine the eligibility of any company or product
for inclusion in the conference and reserves the right to
reject, eject, or prohibit any exhibit in whole or in part,
or any exhibitor, or representatives, with or without giving
cause.
INSTALLATION/ SHOWING/ DISMANTLING…. Dates
and hours for installation, showing, and dismantling will
be specified. Exhibitors will not be allowed to dismantle
their exhibits until after the exhibit is officially closed.
The exhibitor will pay for all charges for storage and handling
as a result of failure to remove the exhibit materials from
the exhibit floor at the conclusion of the conference.
LIABILITY…. Exhibitors must insure their
own exhibits. The exhibitor agrees to make no claim for
any reason whatsoever against AJST; nor other contractors
for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of goods; nor for
injury to self or employees; nor for any damage of any nature
or character, including any damage to business by reason
of failure to hold the conference as scheduled; nor any
action of any nature against AJST, AJST committees, volunteers,
employees, or subcontractors.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY…. Exhibitors are liable for any damage done to building floors, walls, columns, or to standard table equipment or to other exhibitor’s
property. Exhibitors may not apply paint, lacquer, adhesive,
or other coating to building columns and floors, or to standard
table equipment.
UNOCCUPIED SPACE…. AJST reserves the right,
should any rented exhibitors space remain unoccupied on
the opening day, or should any space be forfeited due to
failure to make payment in full by the specified date (registration),
to rent paid space to any other exhibitor or use such paid
space for such purposes as it may see fit without any liability
on its part, but this clause shall not be construed as affecting
the obligation of the exhibitor to pay the full amount specified
in the space rental agreement should AJST not resell the
space.
FIRE, SAFETY, AND HEALTH…. The exhibitor
agrees to accept full responsibility for compliance with
local, city, and state Fire, Safety, and Health ordinances
regarding the installation and operation of equipment. Only
fireproof materials should be used in displays and the necessary
fire precautions will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITY…. Exhibitors
agree to indemnify AJST against and hold it harmless for
any claims arising out of the acts of negligence of exhibitors,
their agents, or employees. Each exhibitor must keep at
least one attendant at the table during exhibit hours.
RELOCATION OF EXHIBITS… AJST reserves
the right to alter locations of exhibitors.
