Liz served as Treasurer of AJST for three years, Conference Chair for the 2006 Conference and is now President. Elizabeth Sabo is the founder of Designing Success, Inc. a Training and Program Management Consulting team. Liz designs and facilitates programs that develop individual potential, while aligning both the individuals' and the organizations' goals. Leveraging talents and strengths to everyone's benefit is a high priority for any project conducted by Designing Success. Liz has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina.

Christine DeGraw served as Board Member -at- Large for two years and is now Vice President. Christine works in the Family Readiness Program with the United States Navy's Commander Navy Installation (CNI) as a Program Analyst. Program areas serviced include Spouse Employment Assistance, Ombudsman, and Volunteer Programs. Christine is a graduate from Kutztown University with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.

Debby has been a member of AJST since 2001 and accepted the office of secretary on the board in 2003. She became the Program Chair position in 2006. She has an A.S. degree in Journalism, a B.S. degree in psychology and an M.A. in Human Resource Development. She spent two years in general Human Resources at a nursing facility before moving with her military spouse and getting involved in the job search training field. She spent three years working with military spouses, the military and eventually in the civilian realm of job search training. She designed curriculum, performed testing (Myers Briggs certified, Federal Job Search training certified), written articles and conducted marketing/research on the current job market. She is currently working in the social work arena assisting people with applying for state programs to assist with medical coverage and financial needs at home.

Mary Beth Rogers is currently a Counselor with Mission College, counseling students and teaching a Careers and Lifestyles course. She also works as an Analyst with the Child Welfare department in Santa Clara County. Mary Beth holds an AA in Sigh Language Interpreting for the Deaf, a BA in Psychology, a BA in Social Work, a MA in Counselor Education specializing in the Adult Learner & Group Work, and the following certifications: NCCC, Job and Career Transition Coach, and a certificate in Instructional Design (graduate level). Mary Beth has attended every AJST conference.

Mary Horan is Lead Service Navigator for WIA Youth Program in City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Job Coach, Trainer for Adults, State wide and County task force to assist individuals in employability. Mary’s academic credentials include a M.Ed., Curriculum and Instruction: Secondary Education and Corporate and Agency Training - specializing in professional writing and its relationship to the organizational culture, University of Cincinnati. Mary has a BS, Secondary Education, University of Cincinnati, is Certified in Communications: English, Speech and Journalism. and Completed AA, Pre-Secondary Education, Raymond Walters College.

Ed joined Commander Navy Installations in October 04 and served as a Management Analyst for Family Readiness Programs that include the Family Employment Readiness, Volunteer, Deployment Readiness, Ombudsman, Sponsorship, and Information and Referral Programs. In this capacity he planned, formulated, organized, trained, and coordinated Congressionally mandated services. In October 2006 he left the federal government and became a contractor for Zeiders Enterprises and still works for Commander, Navy Installations Command as a Management IT and Training Analyst. He completed a highly successful twenty-six year military career before joining the civilian workforce. He is an honor graduate from the Senior Enlisted Academy, and is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Curtis is a retired Navy Administrative Specialist who served over 21 years. Curtis Hellman is now working as a Family Employment Assistance Program Counselor for the Naval Air Station Lemoore. He currently teaches classes in Resume Writing, Interviewing, Transition Assistance, and Relocation. He has organized and assisted in setting up numerous Job Fairs throughtout the Central Valley of California. Most noteworthy, he created the first e-mail job network called, "JOBS, JOBS, and MORE JOBS" that assists Military, Dependents, Retirees in finding gainful employment. He has successfully assisted over 2,000 people to find jobs. For his efforts, his nickname is: Curtis "Headhunter" Hellman.

Carrie is the Director of Career Services at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. She holds an M.A. in Education, Counseling and Student Services and a B.A. in Social Work. She has served on the board of the California Career Development Association for six years and served one year on the board of the California Counseling Association. Carrie was the Co-chair of the International Career Development Conference in 2006 and on the conference planning committee for four previous years.

Rick served as Board Member-at-Large in 2002-2004 and as AJST President in 2004 to 2006. Rick was employed in Career Advancement, Job Search Training and Development, as an ACT Job Profiler, administrator and an instructor at Houston Community College during the last twelve years. Earlier in the 90's, he founded a city-wide volunteer self help organization called "Businessmen Between Jobs" and is still active in the organization today. Rick is a US Navy veteran and a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Engineering and Business Administration. His business experience includes Sales, Sales Management, Project Management and Administration with IBM Corp., Honeywell Computer Division, Raytheon Data Systems and as owner of his own computer sales and training business. Although recently retired, Rick is a consultant to the Harris County Penal System, serves as Vice President of the Optimists International local chapter, is active in the Woodlands, Texas, Civic Association, and teaches two classes at Montgomery College.
